Thatri
Thatri is a grazing ground in the foothills of Dhauladhar range at palampur. The trek gives you an amazing view of Palampur Town, old Vindhyavsini and Neugal Rivulet. Its base camp of mighty Singhar pass (killer pass) 4350mtr.
Best Time: April to October (Winter Trek on demand. Trekking experience required)
Difficulty level: Moderate
Elevation : 2500 mtrs
Duration : 3nights 4days ( One Night two days also available)
Weather: In Summer time the temperature is 20 Degrees in Day time at Snowline and Lahesh Cave.In evening temeprature drops to 9-10 degrees. In Indrahar pass and Minkiani pass Temperature is 5-7 degrees only and if the weather is cloudy it can drop to 0 degrees.
Preparation : You must have done few treks before of Altitude 3000-4000 metres. You should have good physical fitness and carrying weight capacity at least 12 kgs in your backpack .It will keep you in good endurance. Walking long distances walk upto 10-12 kms is also required.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Base camp Nitya cafe (1450m)
Cafe is situated on the right bank of Neugal Rivulet. It is the Northernmost inhabitant place of palampur. You can do conditioning of your body and mind here for further climb. Night stay in Dome Tents or in Cafe Hall.
Day 2: Trek to khala (2200m) 3hrs
The Trek start with steep uphill climb as one can immediately gain the height. The trail is bit difficult in starting but offer the majestic views of Vindhya waterfall and makes your climb worth and beautiful.
Overnight stay in camp site at khala
Day 3: Trek Khala to Thatri (2350m) 3hours
Down hill to stream through the thick forest. After crossing the stream uphill trek is little challenging and adventurous. Steep uphill climb on a Rock face of ghas wali mata is another level thrill of this trek. One can see amazing views of old vindhyavsini, Neugal Rivulet and Palampur town from this trail. Be extra careful while descending. The last stretch to Thatri is mostly flat. Thatri is a huge grazing ground full of big boulders and Gaddi shelters. There is big clean shelter in Thatri where you can also sleep. Once you reach Thatri pitch your tent enjoy and retire for the day.
Day 4: Hike to Singhar base (2850m) 3 hrs
After breakfast get ready to hike Singhar base via Nahar. Shepherd and climber stay overnight in Nahar In order to climb Singhar pass.
Back to thatri.
Day 5: Back to base camp Nitya cafe.
INCLUSIONS
- All accommodation during trek (tents, kitchen tents, dining tent, toilet tents, sleeping bags, Sleeping Matters, Utensils, Medical supports etc.) Everything will be fresh and of good quality.
- Pickup and drop service from srinagar Airport (on arrival) and back to srinagar after the trek. (If booked in advance).
- All meals (Indian food Probably Veg.) during trek.
- Accommodations twin sharing basis in tents,
- Necessary Permits fees
- Qualified and experienced mountain guide, and support staff
- Oxygen Cylinder and medical kit for emergency case
- Permissions to cross the Army camps

- Your Flights Delhi to Srinagar and return to Delhi.
